nextScan is pleased to offer multiple accessory options to accompany nextScan scanners, enabling your organization to tackle diverse collections of microfilm and microfiche.
For large film scanning projects, nextScan scanners can support Pancake Reels up to 2,500 feet, including movie film reels and newspaper images. This is a capability unique to nextScan scanners, and this option is available for either the Eclipse or FlexScan scanner.
nextScan can offer a 3M cartridge adapter for film, optional with Eclipse or FlexScan.
nextScan understands that no film is perfect, and many times you may have to splice film or work to convert film that has been spliced. nextScan scanners are equipped to process spliced film. nextScan’s unique patented transport system within our scanners features anti-tension loops that prevent film from stretching and breaking, while the self-cleaning rolls carefully handle delicate and brittle film. Furthermore, these special features for film handling will help prevent the need for splicing!
