Installation and training are included with the purchase of a scanner from nextScan. A nextScan certified technician will come to your location, install the scanner, train your employees and ensure that the equipment is up and running quick and seamlessly.

Your success is important to us. nextScan developed the Right Start Program to help customers get maximum value from their scanners. The Right Start Program provides all new customers with 90 days complimentary technical support for all hardware and software related service requests. Our certified technical support technicians will help you fix problems fast, so your team can continue focusing on your conversion projects with peace of mind.
Each new nextScan scanner is provided a one-year limited hardware warranty. If any hardware defect is discovered in the product under the limited warranty, nextScan will either repair the defect or replace the product free of charge. New customers will also gain access to our team of expert technicians that will troubleshoot your hardware and help return your scanner to operating condition.
Your limited hardware warranty begins after the 90 day Right Start Program concludes, providing your new scanner with 15 months of complimentary hardware support. The limited hardware warranty is restricted to hardware components only and does not include support for any software or system related service requests.
The Extended Warranty is a valuable investment that provides your organization an unprecedented level of protection from unexpected repairs. Our plans are designed to extend the life of your microfilm scanner while maintaining optimal performance. nextScan offers two variations of the Extended Warranty for full system coverage:
Remote Extended Protection Plan:
This plan helps your organization avoid potential downtime by providing quick turnaround depot repair on virtually all major scanner components, emergency technical support assistance via email or telephone, regularly scheduled software updates, and annual preventative maintenance.
On-Site Extended Protection Plan:
The On-Site Extended Protection Plan affords you all the benefits of the Remote Plan referenced above, in addition to on-site support services. On-site services may include hardware repairs, scanner re-certifications, and preventative maintenance. When your organization opts for an On-site Extended Protection Plan, you gain access to a team of expert support technicians who provide quick convenient assistance when you need it most. nextScan technicians travel worldwide to resolve mechanical issues when your business can’t afford long delays.
Windows 11, What That Means for Your Scanner
NextScan is committed to continuing support for your computing ecosystem. We have identified two areas of concern that the release of Windows 11 creates. The status of Windows 10 and when will Windows 11 be adopted.
First, we will continue to support Windows 10 as long as it is supported by Microsoft. Second, we are currently working to qualify Windows 11 on our current fleet of scanners. Once qualified, we will release it to the production team for new builds and update guidelines and upgrade requirements for scanners you already own.
